I never had the chance to publish this audio piece about Here Lies Love when I made it toward the end of the musical’s Broadway run in 2023. Here Lies Love has now come to my beloved Los Angeles, where it will play at the Mark Taper Forum until April 5. I’m lucky that it gives me a pretty good excuse to share this piece. To be clear, though, this piece exists more as a piece of the archive as opposed to a direct response Here Lies Love’s new iteration in Los Angeles.
